Transforming Lives, One Horse at a Time
At M & M Horse Rescue, every horse has a story—some arrive malnourished, others carry emotional scars from years of neglect or abuse, and many simply need a second chance. Regardless of their past, we are committed to providing each horse with the care, love, and patience they need to heal and thrive. Through proper nutrition, medical attention, and a safe, nurturing environment, these horses experience incredible transformations. Their journeys from heartbreak to hope are a testament to resilience and the power of compassion.

Buddy

Luna

Buddy arrived at M & M Horse Rescue in April 2024, sick and severely underweight. With proper care, nutrition, and treatment, including vaccinations, deworming, and red cell supplements, he has transformed into a healthy, vibrant horse with a whole new spirit.
Luna came to M & M Horse Rescue in July 2024 from a police seizure, emaciated, scared, and blind in one eye. With proper care, including red cell supplements, sweet feed, and alfalfa cubes, she has blossomed into a stunning and thriving horse.

Maybelle
Maybelle was rescued after a late-night trip to Madison, Indiana, where she was found full of worms, covered in burrs, and extremely thin. With care and nourishment, she made a remarkable recovery and recently found her forever home.

Abby
Abby was rescued from the sale barn in Worthington, where she arrived from a Kentucky Amish farm in a severely starved and abused condition. Thanks to love and care, she has recovered and recently found a wonderful forever home.
